With its new RZ series, Zebra launches its new range of printers that directly encode labels with information on their UHF inlays, thus setting a new standard in terms of price-performance ratio within this segment. They are robust, extremely fast and class-leading systems, making them ideal for use under various extreme working and ambient conditions in commerce and production.
The Zebra RZ400 efficiently prints labels of a width of up to 114 mm at a printing speed of up to 254 mm per second and at a maximum resolution of 8 dots/mm (300dpi). Just like its forerunner, the R4Mplus, it is less exposed to dirt due to its compact case and dark colour, thus being the ideal system for even rough industrial surroundings.

Also like its forerunner, this new series is supremely user-friendly, as accessories, such as labels and ink ribbons, can be exchanged easily. The user can benefit from a large assortment of tools with the printer’s menu. For the first time, the RZ400 supports Asian fonts, controlling 15 further languages, making the simultaneous use of different when working abroad superfluous. Maintenance can be carried out equally effortlessly due to the print head, which is quickly exchanged, as well as the housing cover that opens widely.

The RZ series includes additional functions that increase productivity as well as a modern, flexible network connection for easy integration into systems relevant for most production, warehouse, and business applications. You connect via USB, a secure and wireless 802.11b/g connection, or optionally via Ethernet for applications relevant for commerce or production.

These new models offer a large variety of print options. They can be acquired with a high resolution of 8 dots/mm (203dpi) and 12 dots/mm (300dpi), enabling printing in the XML format and providing easy integration into the RFID applications of your customers.
