With the devices of the MT2000 series from Motorola you get the ideal combination of mobile handheld terminals along with the professionalism and ergonomics of a pistol-grip bar code scanner: in addtion to an Intel XScale processor with 312MHz, it the Windows CE5.0 and 64MB memory that guarantee a wide range of applications and particular flexibility. Different models are available that come with laser scanners for 1D codes (scanning range of up to 127 cm), with imagers for 1D, 2D bar codes (optionally HD), and for scanning images, signatures, videos, as well as with integrated EAS deactivation and for DPM scans. An improved micro-processor sets new standards by improving the performance and speed of the omnidirectional data collection. The user enters additional data using the 21-button keypad and displays these on the 320×240 pixel LC display.The data is transferred either wirelessly via Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g), or via Bluetooth at a range of over 90 metres. For wired connections, you revert back to a version with multi-interface USB/RS232.
