The MK4000 multimedia kiosk provides the user with a 30.5 cm (12”) screen (800×600 pixels) for a professional presentation using touch functions and high performance with the Intel XScale processor (624 MHz). Moreover, the integrated bar code scanner transforms the system into a central information point for commerce, logistics, self-service and information terminal applications – the Windows CE5.0 user interface always guarantees high flexibility. The 128MB SDRAM/64MB Flash supports this function and if needed is expanded up to 8 GB through the integrated SD slot.
1D codes are scanned via laser scanner, while 2D and PDF bar codes are optionally scanned with integrated imager – now this is even faster and more powerful through the improved performance of the micro processor. With three USB ports, including Ethernet and optional Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g), the interface package offers a wide range of applications. Along with the Kiosk Software Suite, the kit contains a full functioning demonstration application with source codes for HTML and C++ development environments. Using the integrated browser, Web applications are easily run and displayed from both the local intranet or from the internet. |
